Valley non-profit vision service for kids receives $10,000 donation

Ruddy Insurance Group in Niles has donated $10,000 to Sight For All United, a local organization that provides glasses to Youngstown, Warren and Liberty children despite the ability to pay.
According to the press release, the funds will be used for the organization's remote clinic team mobile van, which offers free screening for children.
Shawn Ruddy, owner of Ruddy Insurance Group in Niles, originally received $5,000 through Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance through its Make More Happen awards.
Through a local awareness program, the non-profit Sight for All United received an additional $5,000 in July.
Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance will select up to 37 independent agents for a Make More Happen Award, donating to up $370,000 to non-profits.
