Girard animal clinic looking for sponsors, donations for fundraiser

BROOKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio - Steel Valley Woofstock is celebrating their 6th anniversary of Peace, Paws, Love and Music.
Steel Valley Woofstock is a nonprofit fundraiser that helps pets through spay and neuter programs, community crisis programs, humane crisis outreach, pet food banks, education and support for military and police dogs.
The fundraiser kicks off at 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 12 at Tiffany Banquet Hall in Brookfield.
Woofstock is still looking for sponsors, basket donations and gift certificates to local businesses. Donations can be made by emailing [email protected] or in person at Steel Valley Spay and Neuter Clinic in Girard.
Woofstock tickets are currently on sale for $50 at the clinic or online.
VIP tables of 10 are available for $1,000 in advance.
Tickets includes dinner, non-alcoholic beverage, entry into the progressive prize drawing featuring gift cards from local businesses, and live entertainment. There will be a cash bar available as well.
Live entertainment will include the Steel Valley All Star Band and The Goners.
There will also be a Rock and Roll Memorabilia Silent Auction which will include autographed guitars from Alice Cooper, Tom Pretty and the Heartbreakers, as well as Dave Grohl.
Other items include a signed Star Trek shirt from William Shatner, a Journey signed drumhead, and a special edition poster of Live Aid and Woodstock.
