A 52-year-old man is recovering in a local trauma center Friday evening after a stabbing in Sharon.

According to Sharon City Police, they responded just after 4:00 Friday afternoon to calls of a stabbing near the intersection of Baldwin Ave and Plum street. When they arrived on scene, they found two males suffering from stab wounds and lacerations.

The 52-year old, who remains unidentified, presented with "severe-life-threatening injuries" and was transported to a local trauma center to receive medical attention.

Also found injured at the scene was 34-year old Deshaun Jontae Emery, later identified by police as the suspect in the stabbing. According to the release, Emery's injuries are non life-thretening, and he is currently recovering in a local hospital. 

A warrant has also been issued for Emery's arrest in relation to the stabbing, charging him with one count of criminal attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, one count of burglary, and one count of robbery.

The incident remains under investigation.
