Historical Society to host historical scavenger hunt road trip August 19th

Do you like history? Do you like a mystery? Do you have a car? If so, the Mahoning Valley Historical Society has just the activity for you.
Next Saturday, August 19th, the Historical Society will host it's 9th annual road trip scavenger hunt which sends road-ready history buffs around the valley to some of the region's most notable historic sites.
If you're interested in participating, the Historical Society asks that you arrive with your team and trusty steed (or car, as the case may be) at the Arms Family Museum at 5:00pm, where you'll receive clues about six historic sites around the Mahoning Valley. Teams will then set off at 5:30pm for their adventures.
The first one back with all six sites identified correctly will win the Amazing History Race 9 Trophy. Be sure to bring your smartphone or digital camera to prove you made it to all six landmarks.
Teams can register for $7 per person, or $5 per person 60 or over or aged 5-13 years old. Children 4 and under are free.
You can register and pay by calling Linda Kosta at 330-743-2589, ext. 125.
