High temperatures will only reach the low 70s Friday afternoon, making today our coolest day in quite a while. Mostly sunny skies will be around for most of the day, leading into a clear evening for high school football. If you will be heading out this evening, you may need to bring a jacket or sweatshirt, as temperatures will dip into the low 50s overnight.

We will slowly warm up over the weekend, with plenty of sunshine on both days. High temperatures will reach the upper 70s on Saturday before reaching the mid-80s on Sunday. The heat will stick around to start next week.

Temperatures will near 90 degrees on Monday and remain in the mid-80s for much of the week. It will also be a dry stretch of weather, which is a change from the wet first half of the month.
