YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - St. Elizabeth Hospital's Boardman and Youngstown campuses have both been recognized by the U.S. News & World Report on its 2023-2024 Best Hospitals list.

According to a press release from Mercy Health the Youngstown campus earned a high performance rating for common adult procedures and conditions in the categories of congestive heart failure, heart attack and stroke.

The Boardman campus earned high performance ratings in the categories of congestive heart failure and kidney failure.

"Our teams are called to improve the health of our communities by bringing good help to those in need, and they rise to answer that call every minute of every day. This distinction underscores our ministry's commitment to providing high quality, compassionate care to the people of the Mahoning Valley," said Mercy Health Youngstown and Lorain President, John Luellen.

U.S. News evaluated over 4,500 hospitals across 15 specialties and 21 procedures and conditions. Only 12% of these hospitals earned a Best Hospitals ranking.
