Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre celebrates completion of remodeled clinic in Mineral Ridge

MINERAL RIDGE, Ohio - The Mahoning Valley Veterinary Centre (MVCC) celebrated the completion of its new state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Mineral Ridge on Monday.
According to a press release, MVCC staff and crew remodeled the veterinary practice to make it three times larger. In addition the clinic is introducing new advanced equipment for patients to give them the best possible care.
Some of the advanced services offered include companion animal laser therapy, dental care and surgery, pulse wave therapy, digital radiology, ultrasound ability, advanced surgeries and much more.
MVCC owner, Aaron Tangeman tells 21 News the clinic opened in August of 2010. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a huge influx of new pet owners without an influx of available veterinarians.
According to the release, staff wanted to help solve that problem by giving people a good option to bring their pets for prevention and management of their health.
"We went from 1,400 square feet to 4,400 square feet and expanded equipment and services here as well. We went from two exam rooms to four exam rooms. We went from one dental suite to two and two surgery suites from one," Tangeman said.
MVCC has grown by hiring more staff and doctors, as well as making more appointments available to handle the higher demand for veterinary care.
"We know it has been a difficult couple of years for all of us, with construction taking longer than expected and truly appreciate the loyalty and understanding shown. Now we are so happy to share this beautiful new clinic with all of you and look forward to continuing to grow together," said MVCC Practice Manager, Stacy McCale.
