More than 100 outages remain from Friday storm; CCCTC cancels Monday classes
The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center announced that classes would not be held on Monday because as of late Sunday, the facility had no power.

More than three days after powerful storms knocked out power to 50,000 in the Valley early Friday, just over 100 homes and businesses in Mahoning and Columbiana County remained in the dark before sunrise on Monday.
The Columbiana County Career and Technical Center announced that classes would not be held on Monday because as of late Sunday, the facility had no power.
Shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, FirstEnergy reported 79 outages remaining in Columbiana County. The utility estimated that power would be restored sometime before 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Monday.
Mahoning County still had 30 outages with an estimated power restoration between 1 p.m. and 11 p.m..
