The sizzling temperatures in the Mahoning Valley have led some schools to temporarily close their doors early in the school year.

Tuesday and Wednesday have high temperatures of over 90 degrees with mostly sunny conditions.

Multiple schools in Mahoning County will be closed Tuesday due to the heat.

Holy Family School in Poland sent a parent alert announcing the closure. The Youngstown Academy of Excellence is also closed Tuesday. Saint Joseph the Provider in Youngstown is also closed.

Meanwhile in Trumbull County, the STEAM Academy of Warren is also closed due to "extreme heat" on Tuesday according to a post on the school's Facebook page.
