Youngstown school board, YEA union to resume negotiations Wednesday afternoon
Negotiations will resume Wednesday at 5 p.m. due to some board members having prior commitments.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Education Association and the Youngstown Board of Education held negotiations Tuesday but there's still no agreement in place.
Wednesday will be the tenth day that students will not have class due to the ongoing strike.
Negotiations will resume Wednesday at 5 p.m. due to some board members having prior commitments.
YEA spokesperson Jim Courim says, “It would be interesting to know what prior commitments outweigh the commitment that the official leadership of Youngstown City Schools is supposed to have made to our students. I can tell you that YEA remains committed around the clock on any day to resolving this dispute and getting our students back in class.”
