Handel's Ice Cream on track to expand operations throughout country

Handel's Homemade Ice Cream is projecting to open more than 30 new locations by the end of 2023.
The premium ice cream brand has opened 70 shops to date since 2020. With 115 locations across 11 states.

Jim Brown, senior vice president of reltionship management for the company says their future plans include expanding to the southeast region of the country. This will include Houston, Raleigh-Durham and Atlanta. They also plan to expand to Chicago in the Midwest.
Handel's has recently been ranked as one of the top 50 QSR Contenders for 2023, being named as one of the Top 500 Franchises by Entrepreneur, and being listed in Nation's Restaurant News' 100 Under 100: Emerging Restaurant Chains Take the United States by Storm.
The original Handel's Homemade Ice Cream opened in Youngstown, OH in 1945, and the company maintains its roots there with corporate offices in Canfield, OH.
