A fire Thursday night engulfed what appears to be a barn or garage in Austintown.

The fire broke out around 8:45 Thursday night, when Austintown Fire called for all off-duty units to a location at the end of North Yorkshire Blvd, just east of N. Raccoon Rd in Austintown.

When firefighters arrived on scene, they reported the structure as "fully engulfed."

A Photo posted to Facebook around 9:10 Thursday showed a bright orange glow in the sky above the blaze.

 

According to fire dispatch, the fire was considered "under control" as of 9:25 Thursday night.

It is unknown if anyone was injured or what the building was used for at this time. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
