YOUNGSTOWN - Polish Youngstown Inc. will hold it's 9th annual National Pierogi Day celebration.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Kravitz Deli on Belmont Avenue..

To celebrate the groups favorite delicate dumpling, the deli will be offering dine-in or pick-up of a variety of pierogi, as well as other Polish foods. Flavors this year include Potato & Cheese; Kraut, Cheese & Dill and Ruben Pierogi.

There will also be Polish beer and music, a special appearance by Stan the Pieróg, Polish Youngstown's mascot, and even a virtual pierogi-making demo and lesson by 'Sip & Pinch pierogi parties.'

The celebration continues into the evening with Polish Youngstown marking its 15th birthday celebration with a Polish Happy Hour from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This includes live Polka music and a sing-a-long with Cleveland's own Troy Gawlak.

Celebrate with even more to eat and drink like vodka specials, pierogi, Polish beer and Birthday Cake.
