NILES, Ohio - Niles Police believe they have found the vehicle involved in Friday's hit-and-run crash. Now they are asking the driver to turn himself, or herself in.

According to a post on the police department's Facebook page, after going through thousands of images from city security cameras, investigators have identified the vehicle suspected of running down a man at 5 a.m. Friday near Wendy's at the Eastwood Mall complex.

The vehicle, which police say was recently repaired, was found in Youngstown and towed to the Niles police department.

The Facebook post includes the following plea to the vehicle's owner: "Come in and do the right thing instead of waiting for us to complete the investigation and come knocking."
