CANFIELD, Ohio - Komara Jewelers is celebrating its 75th anniversary by treating its customers to big savings.

Between Saturday, October 14 and Saturday, October 21, customers can visit Komara's location in the Coal Creek Plaza on Canfield Road for exclusive sale offers including up to 60% off storewide.

Komara was first opened in 1948 on State Street in Struthers by Stephen Komara. In 1977, a second location was opened by Stephen's oldest son, Robert in the Cornersburg neighborhood and in 1985, Stephen's youngest son, Tom opened a third store in Boardman.

In 1993, the Cornersburg location moved to its current location in the Coal Creek Plaza in Canfield. It is currently run by Robert's children, Brianna and Rob.

"To look back at the history of the business from when our grandfather started the store in Struthers, to our father taking over and now my brother and I running things, it's such an amazing legacy we get to continue," Brianna said.

In addition to a wide selection of jewelry, Komara's offers custom designs, diamond recutting, jewelry appraisals, engraving, insurance and repairs, watch repairs and much more.
