31-year-old woman charged in with involuntary manslaughter in drowning death of child

Charges have been filed in the drowning death of a two-year-old Youngstown child on September 29 on the city's West Side.
Adrianne Lynn Hudson, 31, was charged with third-degree felony involuntary manslaughter on Wednesday in Youngstown Municipal Court in the child's death.
According to the police report filed on Sept. 29 at 3:41 pm, police were called to the 1900 block of Ridgelawn Avenue for a possible drowning.
The report stated that Hudson was watching a family member's child and was talking to another relative when she noticed the child was missing.
It was estimated that the child was out of sight for approximately five minutes. The child was found inside the pool and officials say the girl was pulled out of a swimming pool and taken to the hospital but later died.
The Mahoning County Coroner's Office identified the child as Londyn Cayson.
No further court dates have been set at this time.
