East Palestine to hold fall fest Saturday to support local merchants

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio - The Village of East Palestine is encouraging residents to get out and support local businesses with the East Palestine Merchant Fall Fest on Saturday, October 14.
The event will last from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature various local vendors as well as festive foods, kids activities and basket raffles.
Businesses participating in the event include Kat's Krystals, Gorby's Chip-N-Claws Grooming and Canine Massage, Manetta's Furniture and Decor, Fullers True Value, Sutherin's Greenhouse, Dogs on the Run, Village Escapes, Buck Berry Farm Mercantile, Eighth & Moon Photography, 1820 House, Cuttin' Loose Family Hair Shop, Ianazones by Coulter's, Nene's Collectibles & Gifts, S'More Firewood and McKim's Honeyvine and Winery.
Many businesses will have special offers for customers including fall-themed enamel pins and stickers for the first 50 customers, as well as an in-store raffle entry with any purchase at Kat's Krystals, free s'mores kits from S'More Firewood, free fall-themed hair bows and scrunchies from Cuttin' Loose and much more.
Folks can also visit participating shops listed on a flier that can be picked up at the fall fest headquarters to participate in a game. Whoever can guess the number of items in a jar could win a basket raffle prize.
There will also be face painting at the East Palestine Municipal Building along with a prize wheel. Additionally, if you bring a receipt from any participating vendor, you can be entered for a chance to win a tablet.
The East Palestine Library will also be hosting pumpkin and apple tasting starting at 2:00 p.m.
