NILES, Ohio - Curated Vintage Goods' holiday pop-up shop is open until the end of the year and is located at 6261 Youngstown-Warren Rd. STE 120 and 130 in Niles.
The shop is taking customers on a journey back in time using mid-century modern furniture and American pop culture items spanning the 1950s through the 90s.
Valley native, veteran, and owner Mark Martof, grew up in Warren, but spent 30 years in Texas with his wife Rachel. He said, they travel virtually anywhere and everywhere to ensure they have a carefully curated collection of artifacts from the 20th century.
"My wife and I have been collecting these items for 40 years," Martof told 21 News.
Inside the pop-up shop, visitors are likely to find holiday trinkets, Cleveland sports memorabilia, Vespa scooters, and memorabilia from Niles and Warren dating back to the 1920s.
Martof said it has been a goal of theirs to provide people in the Valley with a chance to take home some one of a kind pieces.
"We have an old vintage stereo that's one of the rarest that has ever existed by RCA. We have music memorabilia, space memorabilia, tables, chairs, lamps. Some of the rare Sputnik lamps from the 50s and 60s." Martof said.
The pop-up shop is open every Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
