Mahoning Valley manufacturer's Coalition spearheads employment program for Trumbull County residents

The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition is teaming up with Warren Forward to provide a path to employment for Trumbull County residents.
The Work Advance Pilot Program is a grassroots organization, stationed at the Trumbull County Action Program center in Warren, that helps residents find jobs in manufacturing at places across the Valley.
"INDIVIDUALS WILL LEARN EVERYTHING FROM SAFETY, AS WELL AS INTRODUCTION TO BLUEPRINT READING, 3D PRINTING, ROBOTICS, JUST TO REALLY GET THEM THAT FOUNDATIONAL LEVEL OF UNDERSTANDING OF MANUFACTURING," said Alex Hertzer of the Mahoning Valley Manufacturer's Association.
The programs will help train and prepare workers for jobs in manufacturing by putting them through a PAID three week bootcamp to prepare them for the industry.
Residents interested in joining the program can visit the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition to learn more.
