Warren murder suspect hires reconstruction expert for trial

WARREN, Ohio - A defense attorney told a judge in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court that an expert is being hired in the case of a Warren woman accused of running down and killing another Warren woman.
According to attorney David Engler, at a cost of $3,000, a reconstruction expert has been hired to testify in the upcoming trial of Kenyana Pennock who is charged in connection with the November 6th incident that resulted in the death of 36-year-old Jesaree Harris
Judge Andrew Logan denied a defense motion to have the state pay the expert.
Pennock, 37, is scheduled to go on trial in December on charges of murder, reckless homicide, and felonious assault.
Police believe Harris was struck by a car at Drexel Avenue and Parkman Road NW and died less than a week later.
