Gunfire reported outside Youngstown home Monday night

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police are currently investigating after gunfire was reported outside of a home on Youngstown's west side Monday night.
According to a police report, police were dispatched to a home on Cascade Drive near Midlothian Boulevard shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Upon arrival, police spoke to the victim who told officers he heard around five to seven gunshots outside of his home. He went on to tell police he found three holes in his home along with shell casings in the street.
Police say it is unclear whether or not the holes in the home were bullet holes or stemmed from something else, but police did find six shell casings in the street.
The homeowner told police he believes the gunfire came from a Ford Explorer type vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed down West Midlothian.
Police checked security cameras from nearby homes, but say they saw no gunfire in any of the videos Neighbors told police they did not know if the vehicle had anything to do with the shots fired.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
