The City of Sharon has announced the winners of the Sharon Business Scarecrow Display Contest.

The top choice is The Buhl Club with 478 votes. Their pair of scarecrows – “Buhl Crow & Baby Crow” - represented ‘Fitness and Family,” said Michelle Bower, The Buhl Club’s Director of Operations.

Their winning scarecrows are on display in front of the entrance of the club  28 Pine St the location and now the entrance to the childcare center.

Second place, at 328 votes, went to Just About Hair, a styling salon at 1341 E. State Street. The salon team, who had two scarecrows entitled “The Client & The Stylist” even dealt with a little scarecrow drama caught on late video of one of their scarecrows being knocked down by a random passerby and they rolled with it by adding a few bruises on their scarecrow and posting the video and pics to garner additional support. 

The contest ran Oct. 16-Oct. 31 with the winner being announced the day after Halloween.
