YBI, MBAC, hosting seminar to help East Palestine businesses impacted by train derailment

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio - East Palestine small and minority business that have been impacted by the February train derailment are invited to an upcoming business seminar.
The Youngstown Incubator, along with the Minority Business Assistance Center and Valley Partners are offering their services to small and minority businesses in the East Palestine community at a Small Business Growth, Expansion, and Accessing Capital seminar to help businesses recover from the derailment.
The YBI, MBAC, and Valley Partners want to help each owner impacted by the derailment recover by making the community aware of the services available. There are a number of different programs through a combination of state, federal, and local resources each organization has to offer that can support struggling small and minority businesses.
Between the YBI, MBAC, and Valley Partners, the services available to small and minority business owners range from small business counseling, tech enabling programs, and advanced manufacturing technology adoption programs.
Each organization will explain in depth how their services can meet each businesses' needs. Participants will also have the chance to meet each team to learn more about the programs and the team members' roles.
The seminar takes place November 7 at 10 a.m. from 11:30 a.m. at the Columbiana Port Authority.
