Two men from Greenville, Pennsylvania were killed during a head-on crash in Trumbull County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Troopers say a Jeep Liberty being driven by 82-year-old Eddie Winchell drove left of center on State Route 88 East of Orangeville-Kinsman Road just after 2:30 p.m. Friday in Vernon Township.

The patrol says the Jeep ran head-on into an oncoming Toyota Camry being driven by Richard Pistorius II.

Both drivers were pronounced deceased on the scene.

Route 88 was closed in both directions during the crash investigation but has since reopened.

The crash remains under investigation.
