A Canfield man and a Struthers woman are facing charges for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old child.

Charges were filed in Struthers Municipal Court against William J. Hutchko Jr., 41, of Canfield, and Rachel Hoover, 39, of Struthers, on charges of unlawful sex with a minor.

According to the complaint, Struthers officers were called to a home in the 400 block of Fifth Street on November 7, where a woman told police that Hutchko, Hoover, and a 14-year-old child engaged in sex at the home.

Police questioned Hoover and Hutchko about the allegations, and both were charged.

According to the complaint, Hutchko told police on October 24, he gave the 14-year-old methamphetamine, and then engaged in sex with the child at his Canfield home, and then went with the child to Hoover's home in Struthers.

Both Hutchko and Hoover were arraigned in Struthers municipal court on Wednesday afternoon. Hutchko's bond was set at $500,000 and ordered to have no contact with any minors or Hoover.

Hoover's bond was set at $1 million and ordered to have no contact with any minors or Hutchko.

A preliminary court date will be determined in the next ten days.
