YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown City Law Director Jeff Limbian has resigned from his position effective immediately.

A letter was sent out to city officials Tuesday, noting the change and requesting all legal matters be forwarded to Lou D'Apolito.

In a comment to 21 News, Limbian said after 6 years as law director it is time for him to move on.

Limbian recently ran for the city's Clerk of Courts, but lost to Richard Hill.

His future plans are unknown at this time, but he is considering returning to private practice.
