Wildcats look to continue playoff streak vs Canton South

The Struthers football team will play its 14th game of the season Friday against Canton South.
Its the most games they've played in school history and trying to reach the Final Four for the first time.
"You can tell the community outreach has been awesome," said coach John Bayuk. "There wasn't a open seat in the house last week and its really special."
Canton South, also the Wildcats, are 13-0 with their closest game against Akron Buchtel, 27-26 in round two of the playoffs. Quarterback Poochie Snyder is Stark Counties all time leading with 118 touchdown passes.
"He has a lot of great moves and does a lot great things, " said Struthers senior safety Anthony Carter.
"He's a dangerous player and we have to keep all eyes on him," continued Carter.
Bayuk knows they can't stop him but we'll try to slow him down.
"He's one of the top three kids we've played all season. We know its going to be a challenge, but one thing I know is our kids are ready for a challenge."
Rain is in the forecast and Bayuk would like to see some.
"I would like to see a blizzard or a sideways hurricane," chuckled Bayuk adding any form of precipitation would help slow down the South's passing attack.
Kickoff from Tallmadge High School is 7:00 pm
