A Youngstown man appeared before a judge in Mahoning County Common Pleas court Thursday for sentencing after pleading guilty the day before to reduced charges in connection with a June 2021 shooting death in the city.

Khayree Williams, 29, pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of voluntary manslaughter and robbery with a gun specification.

Judge John Durkin handed down a sentence totaling 20 to 24-and-a-half years.

Williams had been scheduled to go on trial next month on aggravated murder charges for his role in the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Kesean Bunch on Glenwood Avenue near West Laclede Avenue.
