Youngstown is asking for tree donations for its Light-Up Night the first night in December.

Beginning Nov. 30, those in the giving spirit can donate trees between 3 and 6 p.m. at 6 W. Federal St.

The tree lighting event will be held on Dec. 1 and once the event is over, the trees the city collects will be given to families in need for their holidays.

Wreaths, artificial pine roping, decorations and lights are also being accepted.
