Football: Farrell ready for PIAA quarterfinals rematch vs. Westinghouse

Farrell plays Westinghouse in the PIAA Class 2A quarterfinals Friday at 7 p.m. at Pegues Sports Complex.
It's a rematch of last season's quarterfinal game when Westinghouse beat Farrell 34-6.
"We take it personal, " said Kabron Smith, Steelers quarterback.
"We lost to them last year, they sent us home, we got to go out for the win," said Smith.
"We beat them the previous year before that so we're 1-1 against them right now but they really beat up on us last year and we've been thinking about this pretty much for a whole year," said Amp Pegues, Steelers head coach.
Last year the two teams played on Westinghouse's home field, this time around Farrell will play in front of the home crowd.
"It's a big factor," said Pegues.
"Playing down at Cupples Stadium can be kind of intimidating with the crowd and the backdrop of Pittsburgh but to get them at home in the comforts of our own place is a really big deal," Pegues added.
The Steelers are 11-1 with their one loss in the regular season to Cathedral Prep, while the Bulldogs are unbeaten at 11-0.
"They have a lot of team speed and athleticism. They're just playing really good team ball right now so we got our hands full," said Pegues.
"This team is actually a very physical and fast team, but I feel like my team is ready for this this year," said Smith.
