A jewelry store in Sharon had quite the shock Wednesday afternoon when a car crashed into the building.

Details of this story are very limited at this time, but Mercer County Dispatchers confirmed with 21 News that the crash happened at Gold Mind Jewelers on East State Street.

21 News spoke with a neighboring business who told us that two cars were coming from the opposite direction and crashed into each other with one of the cars crashing into the store.

21 News crews on scene observed caution tape along with a makeshift gate blocking the entrance to the store as well as some broken glass windows.  

Our crews spoke with store owner Mark Multeri who tells us he was in the back of the store when all of a sudden he heard a loud crash.

"Apparently there was an accident on the corner of East State Street and Railroad and a lady was hit and it forced her right into the window [at] the front entrance of my store," Multeri said.

Multeri tells 21 News the woman had to cut out of the vehicle by first responders at the scene. Her condition is unknown at this time.
