COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - The state representative for Ohio's 79th House District has announced her reelection campaign.

Representative Monica Robb Blasdel filed her petition for reelection at the Columbiana County Board of Elections Thursday.

Robb Blasdel, a Republican, was elected as 79th District Representative in November 2022. The district encompasses the majority of Columbiana County and all of Carroll County.

During her first term, Robb Blasdel served on the House Finance Committee.

"It is my honor to serve the hardworking people of the 79th district in the Ohio House. I've dedicated my first term to listening and understanding the needs and concerns of my district, and fighting for our fundamental rights," Robb Blasdel said. "I look forward to continuing to be the voice for my constituents of Columbiana and Carroll counties while we persistently make Ohio a better and stronger place to grow a business and build a family."

Robb Blasdel is a lifelong Columbiana County resident and lives in Columbiana with her two daughters and husband.
