NILES, Ohio - One of many holiday traditions across the country is taking a trip to the mall and telling Santa what you want for Christmas. For those with sensory needs though, events like this could get overwhelming.

That's why the Autism Society of the Mahoning Valley has partnered with the Eastwood Mall to allow for a sensory-friendly visit with Saint Nick on Sunday, December 3.

Families can stop by between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday to visit Santa and get their pictures taken with him in an environment designed to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children with all abilities.

There will be no lines, no crowds and no music during these hours.

In addition to meeting Santa, there will be various arts and craft stations set up along with games and therapy bunnies and families can enjoy train rides around the mall.
