Florida man charged in January 6th insurrection arrested in Youngstown
A man from Florida, who now resides in Youngstown, is facing charges in federal court for his alleged involvement in the January 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, D.C.
Joseph Vaglica, who lived in Edgewater, Florida at the time, was allegedly on Capitol grounds during the riot. Court records show that his phone was at or around the Capitol between 2:16 p.m. and 4:35 p.m. that day.

Court records show images of Vaglica at the "Stop the Steal" rally hosted by former President Donald Trump. He is also captured on video in the Capitol's Senate Wing, the Crypt to a conference room, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office, near the Rotunda Doors and on the second floor of the House side of the building.
Vaglica faces charges of knowingly entering or remaining a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority, disorderly and disruptive conduct, entering and remaining in certain rooms in the Capitol Building, disorderly conduct in a Capitol Building, parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol Building.
