While the two Grinches who robbed a Howland family's home on Sunday hearts may not have grown two sizes, however, their mean intentions ended up warming the hearts of the family instead.

Sarah Lewis, her husband Corey, and their son Josiah's home was robbed early Sunday morning of all its holiday gifts and more.

Sarah told 21 News that the Grinches' intent to steal from them has instead restored her faith in humanity after an outpouring of people offering to help the family.

Sarah told 21 News that local artist Ron Moore has reached out to the family and is looking to help. The newsroom at WFMJ was also fielding calls from people wishing to help, along with people commenting on the social media posts about the theft.

During the robbery, the family lost electronics like their TV, computer and laptop computer.

Sarah's mom has also set up a gofundme page for anyone who wishes to help the family get some replacement of the items of items taken or broken during the break-in.

The family is hoping to get $2,500 to replace the lost electronics but, more importantly, the Christmas gifts for their baby and the birthday gifts for their child, who will turn three on Christmas Day. As of Friday afternoon, $660 has been raised.

The Howland Police is still investigating the robbery and is asking anyone who may know the identity of the suspects to call 330-856-5555 and ask to speak with a detective.
