Frozen TGI Fridays honey BBQ boneless chicken bites recalled due to possible foreign matter contamination

Approximately 26,550 pounds of frozen TGI Fridays honey BBQ boneless chicken bites have been recalled due to a possible foreign matter contamination.
The recalled products were produced on October 3, 2023 and came in 15-ounce cartons with the lot code "KL3KO3" and an expiration date of 12/26/2024. Recalled products bear the establishment number "P-20287" and were sold at retailers nationwide.
According to the recall announcement, the U.S Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service had received complaints of clear, hard plastic found underneath the breading of the chicken bites.
At this time, there have been no reported illnesses or injuries from the recalled products, but if you have concerns of illness or injury from the product, you're asked to contact your health care provider.
Anyone who has purchased a recalled product should not consume it and instead throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
