INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -  Former Youngstown State University tight end and current Indianapolis Colt Drew Ogletree has posted a $500 bond after making his initial court on allegations of domestic violence.

Ogletree appeared before a judge in Hendricks County, Indiana Tuesday following his arrest Friday on charges of domestic violence committed in the presence of a child less than 16 years old and domestic battery resulting in moderate bodily injury, both level-six felonies.

According to our NBC affiliate WTHR, the incident between Ogletree and the female victim began when the woman looked at Ogletree's phone and noticed he had been cheating on her and broke the phone. The court document says Ogletree picked up the victim, lifted her to about shoulder height, and slammed her to the ground.

Following his arrest, Ogletree was placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List by the NFL. Players on the list are not allowed to play or practice but are still paid.

Ogletree played two seasons at YSU, recording 40 receptions for 391 yards. The Colts drafted him in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

After suffering a torn ACL in training camp, he did not play in his rookie season. He has played in 12 games (nine starts) this season, catching nine passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns.
