BUFFALO, NY - Pittsburgh Steelers fans are going to have to wait an extra day to watch their team in the NFL Playoffs.

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, New York Governor Kathy Hochul announced that the game between the Steelers and Buffalo Bills is being postponed to Monday at 4:30 p.m.

The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday but was moved due to a winter storm warning in Erie County, New York. The storm warning is calling for heavy lake-effect snow between one and three feet and strong winds.

Governor Hochul announced the postponement on X, formerly known as Twitter:

The AFC East Champion Buffalo Bills are 11-6 on the season and have won their last five games to make the playoffs as the #2 seed. Pittsburgh won its last three games of the regular season to finish 10-7, capturing the #7 seed.

The Steelers season has been a roller coaster. They fired offensive coordinator Matt Canada after a week 10 loss to the Cleveland Browns where the offense generated only 64 total yards in the first half.

Throughout the season, starting quarterback Kenny Pickett and backup QB Mitch Trubisky have dealt with injuries or played inconsistently, prompting the team to turn to third-string QB Mason Rudolph.

The Steelers are 3-0 since Rudolph took over as the starter.
