The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation lifted the 45 MPH speed limits imposed on interstate highways in the Northwestern region earlier Tuesday.
The limits were placed on I-80, I-79, and other highways when temperatures hovered around freezing, making conditions icy.
Additionally, the speed limit on Interstate 376 in Lawrence and Beaver counties was also restored.
The Ohio Department of Transportation has revised earlier winter driving advisories to just a caution about possible slippery conditions from rain.
