East Liverpool suspect in wife's murder also charged with abuse of corpse

An East Liverpool man has been indicted on charges in connection to his wife's murder.
34-year-old Christopher Morrisonwas indicted by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for aggravated murder, murder, tampering with evidence, possessing criminal tools, gross abuse of a corpse, and firearm specifications.
These charges stem from the December 18, 2023 fatal shooting of his wife, 34-year-old Tiffany Morrison.
According to a police report, Tiffany Morrison was last seen on the 18th and her body was found in a shed in the backyard of a home on Shadyside Avenue two days later.
The report also details that Christopher Morrison allegedly confessed to a close friend that he had murdered his wife and hid her body in the shed. Officers said the two had been dealing with marital problems.
Christopher Morrison is currently being held on a $1.5 million bond, and is expected to be arraigned in early February.
