YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown police, alongside humane agents with Animal Charity of Ohio, were on the scene at a home on the city's west side.
A viewer sent us a photo showing multiple police cruisers alongside an Animal Charity van at a home on the 200 Block of South Glenellen Avenue.
21 News crews on the scene observed agents taking two dogs and two cats out of the home. We're told the owner voluntarily surrendered these animals.
Animal Charity Coordinator Jane MacMurchy tells 21 News that the animals are in good condition, but the inside of the house is deplorable.
At this time, there is no word yet on whether or not any charges will be filed.
