Youngstown Flea to return for ninth season beginning in February
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Folks who are looking to shop local can once again head on down to the Youngstown Flea as it enters its ninth season in 2024.
The first Flea of the year will kick off Saturday, February 10 just in time for Valentine's Day with the "Made With Love Market." The Flea will take place at 365, E. Boardman Street from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
If you or your valentine have a sweet tooth, there is a second market on that same day just for you: the "Sweets + Treats Flea" which will host over 25 makers of cookies, cakes, pies, popcorn, brownies, breads and much more.
Youngstown Flea Founder Derick McDowell tells 21 News this market will take place in the same time frame in a separate area of the building. McDowell says this market is in response to the high demand for baked goods at the Flea.

If you can't make it to this market, there will be plenty more opportunities to check out the Youngstown Flea, with a market being held the second Saturday of every month.
There will also be special events for the Flea including the "Flea At Frenzy" on April 27 at the east end of Downtown Youngstown, the "Flea at Fellows" on Mother's Day at Fellows Riverside Gardens and the Flea on Phelps on December 6 during Downtown Youngstown's Holiday Light Up Night.
