YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A man accused of shooting a Youngstown woman in the head has been found guilty on all counts, according to the Mahoning County Prosecutor's Office.

Davelle Heath, 28, was found guilty on all counts, including attempted murder and felonious assault.

Heath was arrested in Atlanta, Georgia in April 2022 following the shooting of a woman on March 21, 2022, on S. Truesdale Avenue.

Police went to that area and found that the woman had been shot in the head but was still conscious. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Youngstown police were notified that Heath was taken into custody at the Atlanta Airport by U.S. Customs Agents and Atlanta police after they discovered he had outstanding warrants related to the attack.

Heath was allegedly attempting to board a flight to London, England when he was arrested.

A sentencing date has not been set yet.
