YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown woman is currently in jail after allegedly throwing a cup of yogurt at a city employee.

According to a police report from YPD, the incident occurred in September of 2023 when a Youngstown Parks & Recreation employee was walking to his office.

Police say while walking on Boardman Street near the Youngstown Police Department, he came into contact with 56-year-old Vivian Warren who allegedly shouted "hey" at him.

The employee told police he said "hey" back as if to say hello to her, but police say she immediately "barreled towards him while hunched over at top speed" and threw a cup of yogurt out of him while yelling "keep my name out of your [expletive] mouth" at him and ran away.

Police say the yogurt got all over the employee's uniform and his left arm.

Charges were then filed and a warrant was issued for Warren's arrest. Jail records show she was booked on January 31 and is charged with assault. She's set to be arraigned in court on Friday according to the report.
