YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown City School District (YCSD) will be hosting a bus driver hiring event on Saturday, February 17 to combat an ongoing nationwide bus driver shortage.

The event will be held at Choffin Career and Technical Center at 10:00 a.m. February 17. YCSD offers its bus drivers competitive wages at $24 per hour, as well as benefit packages including medical.

If you're looking to apply but don't have your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) yet, the district offers a 30-day intensive program to help you earn your CDL.

In order to qualify for the position, you must be age 21 or over and you must pass pre-employment screenings and drug tests.
