An Austintown man facing child pornography charges learned his fate in court on Friday.

According to court employees, 41-year-old Randy Curry III was sentenced to five years in prison on five counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor. He must also register as a Tier 2 sex offender.

The charges stem from an 18-count secret indictment against Curry with nine counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor and nine more of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material.

He was arrested by U.S. Marshals back in August.
