Nine months after police searched his apartment as part of a child pornography investigation, a Niles man is on his way to prison.

Robert Fiorenzo, 39, appeared before Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald Rice on Thursday, where he was sentenced to two years in prison.

Fiorenzo pleaded guilty last month to two counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

According to a police report, officers acting on a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched Fiorenzo’s Robbins Avenue apartment on May 15, 2023.

In addition to seizing a cable modem and router, investigators seized a cell phone, computer, photo paper, and several VHS tapes.
