A Youngstown man is behind bars after being indicted for several charges including child sex crimes.

Rory Stephenson, 43, has been indicted for six counts, including rape, compelling prostitution, three counts of corrupting another with drugs and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, according to court records.

According to a police report filed in December of last year, Stephenson was arrested in connection to a female juvenile reported missing on December 4.

When the juvenile was reported missing, several messages between Stephenson, who allegedly posed as a 19-year-old boy, and the juvenile were found on the female's laptop, which talked about meeting up at a bus stop or taking a taxi to an unknown location.

Officers called Stephenson who abruptly hung up after he told them he did not known the victim.

Stephenson was later arrested, he is now being held at the Mahoning County Jail.
