YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The suspect facing eight charges in connection with the murder of a Youngstown teen is expected to enter a plea on Wednesday.
According to court records, a plea hearing has been set on February 14 for 21-year-old Carlos Flores. Flores is a suspect in the murder of 17-year-old Reshaud Biggs Jr.
The shooting occurred in July of 2021 at the Gateway Gas Mart on South Avenue in Youngstown. Flores was arrested a week after the murder.

Flores is charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, discharge of a firearm on prohibited premises, carrying a concealed weapon, and obstructing official business.
In April of 2023, it was ruled that Flores was incompetent to stand trial. However, that changed in December when a judge ruled that Flores was indeed competent to stand trial.
