Lariccia's Italian Marketplace on the market for $1.5M
If you have had the inkling to run your own store selling Italian foods and other goods, now may be your opportunity.
Larriccia’s Italian Marketplace behind the Southern Park Mall in Boardman is for sale.
The building at 7438 Southern Blvd. is listed through Gonatas Real Estate for an asking price of $1.5 million.
According to the listing, the third-generation Italian specialty store and catering business is one of the largest and most successful specialty stores in the state, serving the area for over 115 years.
Although the current location was built in 2002, Lariccia's has been in business in the Valley since 1907 selling favorites like cavatelli, sausage peppers, and homemade biscotti.
Lariccia’s is being offered as a "turnkey" business, meaning it would be ready to use the moment it is purchased by a new owner or proprietor.
The listing says Lariccia’s has loyal employees with growth opportunities.
Owners tell 21 News they’ll stay on if the business is sold. If it isn’t sold, they’ll keep operating the store. No changes or closing is planned.
